The Scout Network is for adults to get together and socialise. You don't have to be a Scout leader to join or even have any kind of Scouting background.

We're not what people traditionally think of as Scouts but we still employ the fundamental values of Scouting and are proud to be members of the worlds largest voluntary youth movement!

The section was formed as a Venture Scout unit in 1979 as part of the 1^st Silsden Scout Group. We took on the title of 5th Keighley in 1985 and became the District Venture Scout unit.  Now with the age change of the sections within Scouting we all became Scout Network members. We of course retained our membership.  We have gone through many changes since our start in 1979 but have continued to keep the section going and because of that we have now celebrated our 31st year of Scouting as a section within the Keighley District of West Yorkshire.
